Mobile phone destroyed as punishment

A guy walked along a street taking pictures of naked women. Only after a while he was caught by the boyfriend of one of the woman.

He had pretended to talk on the phone, however, as he passed the topless sunbathers, he would pause and take a photo of their breasts.

The judge spared the culprit a potential jail term and fined him, warning him women were "not objects of decoration for men's gratification". His mobile phone will be destroyed.

What? His mobile phone will be destroyed? What has this got to do with it? He won't be allowed to buy another phone with a camera - that would be something else, but destroying his phone sounds a bit .... funny!
