Remember those good old bankbooks?
I have too bankbooks - a bankbook for this, and a bankbook for that. I know it is not the best way moving forward, but it is necessary to keep accounts separate.
Now, Kookmin Bank of Korea introduced its “KB Electronic Bankbook”. It is a creditcard-shaped bankbook with an embedded integrated circuit.
Tha bank says that the "IC bankbooks can store information on over 30 accounts and be used for cash, credit and securities transactions as well as the payment of transportation fares."
If now only it would be possible to use it in different banks (but then, who has got 30 accounts in just one bank?) or in different countries.
May be one day, I will only have one bankbook left to look for. But then I only hope that the teller does understand how my new bankbook is operating.
